Favorite File encountered MaryAnn Iwuchukwu in a cool mood at an event recently. She was doing Azonto dance steps to the admiration of many guests that evening and out of curiosity we wanted to know who she is.
She calmly told us she works with Bristow Helicopters, in their travel department. She joined the airline five years ago after resigning from a bank. According to her, she left her banking job due to the pressures associated with seeking potential customers to meet up her target. “Banking wasn’t alright for me because I was in the marketing department and I’m not good in marketing. We had targets we had to meet and we were under a lot of pressure. That was why I left the job for Bristow Helicopters and I’m enjoying every bit of my work.”
What’s your favourite colour?
My favourite color is blue, because it’s a catchy color.
We have different shades of blue but the one that I love
the most is deep blue.
Favourite food?
If I tell you, you won’t believe. My favorite food is okra
and eba or semovita. I’m not a rice person. I love okra
soup and I can eat it even if it’s rancid.
I can still manage to eat it, anyhow it’s prepared, I can
still eat it.
Favourite music?
I like pop music, because I can dance to any tunes. I
like dancing.
I love dancing. Dancing, I would tell you is my best
hobby.
Your favourite drink?
My best drink is Coke
Favorite holiday spot?
I like London. That’s where my friends are and I hang
out with them whenever I’m around to visit. In Nigeria,
you can’t walk at night and not be scared but in London
you are free to move around any time, you are safer. You
can go to club and have fun.
Favourite leader?
My favorite leader is OBJ.
Ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo, Baba for life. He’s a
no nonsense man. That’s why I like him.
Favourite designer?
Since I was much younger, my favourite designer has
been Gucci.
What’s your favourite apparel?
I love short dresses because they make me look smart.
Favourite book?
Never mind! I don’t have to lie about this. I’m not a book
person. When I was growing up, I loved Mills and Boon
but now I don’t think I like reading novels.
Favourite author?
Forget that because I’m not a book person. Even when
you ask my colleagues at work, they will tell you “Mary
Anne? She’s not a book person.”
